Make It Better MISSION: Corey

WestRash Charities has teamed up with MIB Agents to complete a Make It Better Mission for 15 year old pediatric cancer fighter Corey.  Corey has Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) is his left leg.

Corey’s Make It Better MISSION:

Corey’s birthday is on December 19th.  He would love to receive cards from around the world – not only for his birthday but anytime!  Corey is also a gamer and would appreciate PlayStation gift cards or strategic board games.  Looking to help him remain as stylish as his teenage peers? American Eagle t-shirts are welcomed.  As for sports….Corey is a huge Chicago Bulls fan.

A brief glimpse into Corey’s heart…. when asked about his mission he also requested gifts for his two sisters who are 8 and 14. So if you’re spreading a little joy this holiday season perhaps pick up something for them too.

About Corey:

Corey is a 15 year old High School Sophomore from Oregon who has been battling Osteosarcoma since March of 2017. Corey underwent femur replacement surgery in his left leg and nine months of chemotherapy.  Still in a lot of pain after treatment, he returned to the surgeon to learn that his endo prosthetic leg had twisted. Corey is scheduled to have another surgery to correct it.

Background on MIB Agents and WestRash Charities:

WestRash Charities has teamed up with MIB to help kids like our son Owen, who we lost to Osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in April of 2012 at the age of sixteen.  MIB works to fulfill MISSIONS aka“mini” wishes for osteosarcoma patients around the country. WestRash will work with MIB to try and fill as many of these wishes as possible.  Both WestRash Charities and MIB Agents are 501 (c)(3) Non Profits that are 100% Volunteer Organizations.
